PS
Dear All,

i want to activate call waiting for internal calls, it is activated for external calls, when i try to call busy extension it forward the call to the hunt group or get busy tone (depends if the user is part of a hunt group or not) and the other extension dont know that i am trying to call him or event didnt get message or call waiting tone,

I read about camp on but i think camp on is for external calls only, now the value of campon timer is 10 sec and also campom recall timer is 10 sec.

if the campon timer is 10 seconds and campon is allowed, then the caller must either remain on the line while encountering busy tone for the duration of the timer to be camped on or must press/dial the campon feature option/code to campon.

When campon occurs, the called party will hear campon tone if enabled to do so.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

It's a COS option. It is allowed if external is already working.

I meant to say if the campon timer is set to 10 seconds THEN campon is allowed. This may need to be set in the calling device though, check both.

Sorry, before we dig too deep it might be a good time to tell me your system type.

mitel 3300, the campon timer is set to 10 seconds, but about the calling device which is 5320e how enable campon??

You missed that I answered that already

You will be automatically be camped on at the expiry of the timer or you must choose to campon by FAC or Feature Button

Busy Signal is normal and I would say a requirement prior to campon.

Also:

This option applies only to sets without softkeys, ONS stations, and trunks calls. Sets with softkeys do not require auto camp-on since they provide a "Wait" soft key that gives the user control over camp-on.

So what sets are you using

Also if the call is going straight to another sestination or VM then this call forward overides the camp on facility.

So look in in Call Re routing and see if the first alternative is set to reroute on busy. If it is then you won't ever get the option to camp on. Or change the BUSY/DND INT back to normal and then camp on will work with these calls. Of course the user may also have set a divert on busy internal to VM or whatever as well.

At least trhat is how I understand it.

Conditions from the help file
