Access to voicemail for outside 1

Is there a way for someone to access their voicemail from the outside when they call their DID? If so, do I need to setup a short code for them?

Yes, in Intuity mode, when they hear their greeting, press *7, they will then be allowed to login to their VM BOX.

My favorite option is to program a "hidden" touch tone in a VM call flow that connects to a get-mail action.

Does *7 hold true for IP Office mode operation?
