Had a few problems on an install today with the 96x1 not getting dhcp address from the IP500.
IP500 is set to dhcp server 'only for Avaya phones' & SBS2011 server is on the same network for the PC's dhcp.
Have no problems with the 16xx series phones or the 96xx handsets getting the correct dhcp addresses but the 96x1's are always grabbed by the SBS2011 dhcp. site is not using vlans..
I have managed to statically address the phones as only a few today but wondered if any ideas on why its happening or how to get around the above with a 242 scope option telling the phone to fcuk off to the IP500 dhcp server without using vlans for a site with 20 phones?
