Hi, we have a 2.1.1 s8500 with ISDN PRI that services multiple buidings on our campus environment. The "outer" buildings are connected to the main building via copper. One of the buildings is on the other side of a public road and has a different street address than the main building.
My concern is with 911 calls originated from the outer building. The 911 center sees the street address of the main building instead of the outer building.
Has anyone dealt with this type of situation? I'm considering installing a couple trunks from the LEC in the outer building, bringing them to the main campus over our copper and installing them in the s8500. I would them partion and routing for those stations in the outer building.
