Hello everyone,

I have been reading previous posts off & on for days now, about the new 9.1 time profiles. I have not found the scenario, that I need.
Customer has the day (8-9AM, 10:01AM-5PM Mon.-Fri) meeting time (9:01-10AM Mon.-Fri.) & Night (5-11:59PM, 12:00-7:59AM) time profiles.
Day time rings Exts. in HG 500 & overflows to AA1 after 5 rings. Meeting Time goes immediately to AA2. Night goes immediately to AA1
Right now I just have everything set in the ICR. With a "Set HG Night Service" button for night & "set HG Out of Service" button for meeting time. They wanted these if the meeting time needed to be earlier then 9AM & Night earlier then 5PM, these override the current Time Profile & need to be shut off when done.
I also setup a short code to "Set Time Profile Inactive till Next Active" for the meeting time profile, if they get out of the meeting earlier then 10AM. This also works & makes the system go back to the day time profile.

I have been testing on my test system (just upgraded from 8.1 to the 9.1) Removing the time profiles from the ICR & putting them in the HG. I tried the "Status" softkey & a Time Profile button.
The thing I liked with the time profile button is, it is always lit green (for Day) until a time profile kicks in & it shuts off. I also can then choose to turn on or off, but this goes to the Night Service Destination always.

How do you make it so the "Meeting Time" time profile go to the Out Of Service Destination, then the "Night" time profile go to the Night Service Destination?
If not possible, what is the best solution?

Thanks to all replies

you need to create multiple time profiles (1 for each condition) & use then in the incoming call route,.

Ip office checks these time profiles from the bottom up & follows the 1st one that matches,

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

In Web Manager it is top down[evil]

Thanks IPGuru,
So that is how I did the Time Profiles, before the 9.1's. Are you saying don't even use the new feature in the HG's where you can have the Mode "Controlled by Time Profile"?
The way you say to program, is exactly how I currently have it set. Was hoping the new 9.1 feature would make it easier for my customer.

Hello again everyone,

Thought I'd mention what I did to get this resolved.

Just like IPGuru says, first I programmed my Time Profiles, Day, Meeting Time, & Night with the times listed above.

Then in the ICR, I have my default value destination to the Main HG, with the Night & Meeting Time below.

Next I created a Night HG & a Meeting Time HG, with nothing in the User List, but under the Fallback, in the Day Service Time Profile, I have the Night (for HG Night) & Meeting Time (for HG Meeting Time). In the Night Service Destination, I put the phantom HG that overflows to the AA I wanted. Being Controlled by Time Profile.

Finally, I programmed 2 Time Profile buttons (one with the Action Data = Night & the other with Action Data = Meeting Time)on the phones they wanted.

This will light the associated button when it is in that Time Profile & shuts of automatically when not using a Time Profile(on 9508 phones) & you have your 5 features to override Time Profiles.

Like I said in my first post I spent a lot of time reading with people having similar questions & this works great.
