I have an 8410D with a one-way speaker. I was told that this is in programming, is there any way to change it to two-way??

'cha st x' the first page of the station form for the 8410 has a 'Speakerphone' field. Set to 2-way.

it is already set to two-way so what else could change it?

The phone should be configured as a 8410D+. Plus designates two way speakerphone.

At least on the switches I've seen there is no 8410D+. If your phone is programmed as an 8410D with speakerphone set to 2-way and you have tested it and you are getting sound in and not out I'd say you have a bad microphone.

Good Morning!

The only thing that comes to mind is the MUTE BUTTON ENABLED option on the station screen. Make sure it's set to YES (allows the user to mute/unmute).

Good Luck! WHCARon

Check The instrument, I think the instrument itself is bad, Maxg is right because the station programming seems OK for the speaker phone.
Best of Luck..:)
