I have a total of 8 numbers that i want to go into a tie line that will go to a fax server. Where would i set this up at? Any help in the right direction would be great.

This is an M1 11c

These 8 numbers have to defined as DSC (LD 87) pointing to a RLI (LD 86) that is set up with TIE rout number

clear that one up.. you have 8 numbers you want to send to a tie, or 8 trunks to a tie for a fax server..

to send a number to a route

ld 86
new
rlb
x
route 10
frl 1 (allows ncos 1 and above), the rest is return

then 87
new
0
cdp
dsc
456
rli x return through the rest, in my 4 digit dial plan i would be sending 4560 thru 4569 to route 10

does that look correct?

basically i want numbers 4080-4089 as fax lines to go to TN 13 0 of a universal trunk card in slot 13. what do i need to program as far as that goes? something in ld 14 maybe?

also another interesting development, i cant seem to enable the TN in ld 32 or ld 20. when i do a "enlu 13 00" it coms back with "UNIT UNEQ

that is sending 4080 thru 4081 to route 1.. if you print tnb 13 0 what route is that built on.. if your adding a tie or cot on 14, then build a new rdb in 16 and add the trunks in 14

that means there is nothing programmed on 13 0. What kind of TN are you trying to enable?

a tie line i assume. Basically we want to program a range of numbers (4080-4089) to go to a line (tie line i assume) that goes to a faxboard/server. Im sorry for being pretty new at this, if im not answering your question correctly.

What do you have in slot 13? What is the programming for rout 1 that goes to the server?

slot 13 is a univeral trunk card. i used route 1 because it was the first number to come to mind, but i think that is wrong. I think i need to program a new route on 13 00. i think route 1 is on my other universal trunk card (the one i use for my RANs)

You'll need to build the rout, then build the trunk in the new rout. You can prt the routes in ld 21

ok i think i figured it out...

here is my route..

do i need to set up those 4080-4089 numbers anywhere else like ld 49 or anything like that?

2007 gives a fast busy. the DNs would be the 4080-4089 numbers correct?

4080 thru 4089 are no longer in your luvu table, because they are dsc's. 2007 gives you a busy.. that's a stopper, you removed the targ.. have you tested the trunks with a but set? remove the jumper, you should be able to get on each end of that connection a rec a wind (sounds like two quick clicks) on either end.. after you hear the wind you can dial any dn on either end.... if i connect a but set to my analog wink start tie, i hear a wink from my end, dial 4940 (dtmf) and get my station.. if i connect to the end from the far end switch, (avaya) i hear a wink, and can then dial Russ in that switchroom... test the tie and get back to me... add a star to this post so the rest of the gang will chime in...

ok so i hooked up both a 500 phone and a but set to the punchdown block coming off the card. i do hear the two fast clicks. after that i can dial my extension and it goes through. If i try to dial to 4080-4089 from any phone externally or internally, i still get fast busies. but there is a delay of like 2-3 seconds before the fast busy is played.
