Hello,

Need to upgrade an IP Office V2 from 8.1 to 9.1 (third party request, they don't want to jump to 10). I am running manager 10.0.0.3.0 Build 5, so how should I go about this upgrade? Do I need to downgrade my version of manager first? Never had to upgrade a system below my manager version before...

Here is what I do.
A few things TBH

I installed lower versions on manager then renamed the manager folder to ManagerRX.X and installed the next higher version and again renaming the manager folder to the release behind the name.
That way I have folders with the different manager folders and their files.
To upgrade to any of these releases I just change the working directory.
I also have SD card backups for every release I ever had to create a card for so in case I don't have the correct manager folder I can use the SD card folder to have the correct files.
It is not something you probably want to do in one session but over time.
My suggestion
Rename your manager to the 10.x release and then install the 9.1 release you want to make the system.
Upgrade the system and then rename that folder to 9.1.x and rename the original back to manager.
That way you don't have to install it again

Just download the R9.1 bin files and then point the upgrade directory to those bin files. No need to use R9.1 Manager for this.

Telecomboy
the bin files only have the files for the system in it not the ones you need for the phones and other devices connected to the system.

Thank you!
