I have a 6402 that is covered to voicemail with no rings---I can not figure out how to set the rings to 3 before forwarding to voicemail

Find out what coverage path it is using and then do a Change Coverage Path X

There you can set the rings.

Also, Send All Calls might be activated. If that doesn't work do a disp feature-access-codes and find the FAC to deactivate it on that phone.

I would bet on Send All Calls being active. Try status station XXXX and check for SAC Activated?. If it is, then use the FAC to deactivate, as dmoore suggested.

thanks--I did both---and still it is forwarding to vm without rings----I am thinking about blowing it up--its a little problem that is driving me nuts

actually--I did call forwarding activation and de-activiation and not send all calls---I got it now--

Thanks,

This may sound strange - but are you calling the station to see if there really are rings being played before you hit VM? I'm wondering if the ringer on the actual phone set is dead.....

You can always try removing the station and then re-adding it.

Check the coverage path and make sure ALL? is set to n (no) for both inside and outside. If it is set to y then all calls will automatically cover without ringing the phone.

See--I told you it was a stupid question---I have never seen this many replies this quick --- but I am glad there are this many people monitoring and quick to help--thanks to all
