thanks for these links. I'm currently downloading Admin6_1_6 but the server seems to be overloaded...
I downloaded 6.1.5 today and did an upgrade of a new IP500v2. The upgrade went through without any problems. The filetransfer (more than 300 files) took a long time but everything went fine.
My problem is that the 1416 terminals tell me that they need to get a firmware update and then "Waiting FW Update".
But they never get a new firmware file from IPO. I checked the tech_bull 127 where Avaya tells firmware 'R1 Buld 49' is required. I found a file called 1400R49.bin and a file called 1400R10++6082.bin but obviuosly the phone doesn't like them both...
Anyone here who knows which file I am missing to upgrade the phones?
Nope, the 1416 did an upgrade, No 1616's here. Go into the system tab, TFTP and HTTP server address and "file server type" that's where it tells the Dig sets/system where to get the firmware from
Also...the new ACIS - Avaya Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Communications Cert (another PeasonVu test) is available on the Avaya Learning site. It looks like if you paid any attention in the Boot Camp class, or have any basic experience you should pass.
Likewise the ATU02142WEN IP Office Technical Delta Release 6.1 is up. I took it today and it's actually better than some of those past Deltas.
"Admin CD - some of you may have noticed we issued a 6.1.6 Administration CD on our website last Friday 26th November, this contained a small fix for a minor issue which is quite hard to reproduce. Even though we feel this issue is fixed, we made a decision that this code change had not received enough testing and therefore we have released Admin CD 6.1.5 as the 6.1 GA Release version. Please be aware that the 6.1.5 Administration should be downloaded from
and used in future and discard any field trial versions you have as there was also a change to the Dect software folder on the first issue of 6.1.5, which was updated last week."
