Does anyone know a work around for conference meet me short codes and a V2 with embedded voicemail?

Why a work around ?

Just make a shortcode

*81
Conference meet me
100
Line id 0

Works for me

Keep in mind this is a V2 running 6.0

I know, it works.

I tried this code
#01
Conference meet me
1
line 0
And
*99
Conference meet me
1
line 0
Neither worked

I will try your code but it is essentially the same as mine.

The documentation says you can't have secure meet me conferencing without VM Pro which is correct (the way it is worded is misleading), but you can have just Conference meet me no problem as tlpeter said :-)

ACSS Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Communications

I've just bought a brand new car and on the way out of the dealership the engine seized, they want £2000 paid in advance to look at it which they will keep if they can find a way to blame me for it......Remind you of anything :-)

So either of the two short codes that I made should work corect?

Change the "1" into "100" or anything higher.

The code I tried was
*81
Conference Meet me
8181
line id 0I get number busy with that and every code. Does it have anything to do with te fact that I only have 2 VM ports with the embedded vm?

I also can't get it to work. I am using a V2 with Embedded VM.

tried to change the into a number like 8181 instead of *81

Change the Short Code into that number or the Phone Number?

I tried both and it still just goes to busy externally and incompatible internally.

Don't think you'll get it working.

You need a "Preferred Edition license" to make it work.

tlpeter, try deleting the "Preferred Edition license" and then try again.

From the docs;
Conference Meet Me

This feature allows a user to join a specific conference.

For IP Office Release 6 and higher, IP500 and IP500 V2 systems require a Preferred Edition license.

So it could be that when you have the licence and use EVM the it will work. You could order a free licence for 60 days, it might keeps running after 60 days...:-)

I doubt that it will keep working bas they are not that daft at Avaya. But on the other hand it is worth a shot :-)

insanity is just a state of mind

It only works when you have the preferred edition licenses :-)
If you remove it then the conference meet me stops working on embedded VM.
