56xxsw IP Programming Buttons

Is there any way to program the buttons across the bottom of the screen on a 5610 or 5620?

There are two open spaces next to SPDial and Log and we would like to program Voicemail on one of those buttons since the IP phones don't have a hardware VM button like the 54xx phones do.

You cannot program these buttons, you can program the buttons left and right of the screen, program a Visual Voice button instead of a regular VM button.

So, what is the point of the buttons if you can't program any features to appear there??

Because as you use certain features/functions on the handset they come into use, snap them off if it annoys you too much

Press option on the 5620, to select half screen to get 3 more keys on the screen.

Make them a hotdesk user also gives you more keys (6 or 12)

bas1234: i found that option already... while helpful...i was looking to program VMail next to the log and SpDial buttons...
