406V2 to 500 1

I have 406V2 configured w/8D,2A,4-line card, 1-16D stat module. Need to replace with 500.
I know how to get to latest release and equip I'll need, but I don't know what will happen to the configuration.
Does anybody know if I will be able to simply load the existing 406 configuration into the 500?

Just send the config to the 500 and as long as you have enough analogues etc it will ask you if it is an upgrade to 500 just click yes then it asks if you are mapping the analogues to a phone 2 or phone 8 just click whatever your'e using and it's done!

upload the file without the cards in the IP500 and let it decide where they are going, then look at the config and put them where the IPO does.
