Proxy Server keeps redirecting internal URL externally

Tried that before, didn't work! We've resolved it temporarily. We had effectively two proxies, one WebMarsal server inside the firewall, then one MS Proxy Server in the DMZ. The WebMarshal server points to the MS Proxy and the MS Proxy then points to the internet. Pointing the internal Proxy...

Proxy Server keeps redirecting internal URL externally

Hi all, We are runing a Win 2K proxy server and are having a strange error. We have an internal server on the same subnet running W2003 server and IIS. It is running an internal web-site that only seems to work if you bypass the proxy, therefore disabling your ability to browse the web. The...

Netbackup Pro 3.5 and the XP SP2 Firewall.

No ideas anyone? Surely someone has come across this? Thanks again.

Netbackup Pro 3.5 and the XP SP2 Firewall.

Hi all, I've searched the web and cannot find the correct answer. Which port do you have to open up on the XP SP2 firewall to allow the Netbackup client-server communication. The client is listed in the "Allow" section of the firewall, but you still can't contect the server when you want to...

    Easy question? Re-directing reception console

Hi everyone, When our receptionist wants to pop out for 10 minutes, I'd like to be able to re-direct the reception console (Lucent 302C) to another user's standard extension. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it? I'm using a Definity G3Si on v7 of the OS. Many thanks!

Virtual PC with 2003 Server as guest OS memory requirements

Hi all, We're looking at seeting up machines with XP Pro as the main OS, but with Windows Server 2003 as the guest OS. Has anyone tried this? My main question is regarding the memory requirements. The US are suggesting 2Gb RAM, but I was wondering if anyone knew if this would make a great...

Best way to back up a NetBackup 3.51 Server?

Hi all, In your experience, what's the best way to backup a W2K server running this version of NetBackup? I backup all my servers (including the server running NetBackup) from a dedicated Backup Exec W2K server running B/E 8.6 for Data Centres. When it backs up the NetBackup volume it skips...

    Back-up failed

Hi, I It seems like I have some corrupt PST's(see below), although I have used SCANPST.EXE to repair them and there is no problem using the PST's in Outlook. Is this what's failing my backup? If so, how do I fix it if the PST's seem ok? Thanks for all the advice...

    Back-up failed

I get exactly the same problem. Windows 2000 Server SP4, with Backup Exec 8.6 for Datacentres. I'm not backing up any Excange servers, just remote data servers (connected to the same switch, though), onto a Compaq StorageWorks 5026 auto-loader. The backup completes and fails every time. No...

Unable to get cov paths to hit voice-mail.

Okay, sorted it. Had to change the cov path voicemail point back to h10 (our Audix hunt-group), then changed the auto-attend-routing routing-table in Audix so that my extensions pointedf to a different mailbox as their default mailbox. Works fine! :o) Thanks for the help.

Unable to get cov paths to hit voice-mail.

Set the conditions of the cover path to go to cover for all conditions, and try that." Tried that and now if I put the voice-mail extension as the first point in the cov path, it diverts, but if it's the second point after the cov ans grp, the call still never gets there. The vector is set up...

Unable to get cov paths to hit voice-mail.

Hi all. I have set up our Definity with a vdn in our DDI range that goes to a vector that allows a "press 1 for tech support, press 2 for sales" response. The vector points to ext numbers with cov paths with a cov ans group as the first point and a voicemail extension (non-DDI) as the second...
