Well as far as i know, I began disabling progs one at a time and when i finaly got to zonelabs and removed it, hey presto!

How can i find out what needs to be running in the background and what programmes i can turn off the list is getting quite long ? im using XP Home.

I have Esat BT Broadband and when i download the latest XP Hotfix it just disables my Broadband and wont allow me to connect(user name and password incorrect) Any ideas?

I had the same problem a while ago,After a while of fiddling i found that it was my free firewall zonelabs that was the problem.i removed it and now its fine again.

Im having the same problem with setting up a hotmail account through outlook 2002. it sets up ok but wont update live mails! i have to log out and back in again. i have the settings to check for new mails every 5 mins.
