Hi Denny, I removed my SQL server and reinstalled it and loaded SP3a after....restoring the master database after that was done with no problems. I'll reload SP4 after I have finished all my restores. Thanks! Cheers, Ronnie

No solution recieved. But I found that if i rebooted the target servers in question then the error disappeared for a while...but then eventually comes back again.
