I looked in the Event Viewer and saw the Save dump log. It says the computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. Then it says the bugcheck was (bunch of Hex numbers) and it was saved in a directory. I shut off the automatically restart option. I'll wait and see if the computer still restarts by...

When I first boot up my machine, and try to browse my network it displays quickly. Sometimes I leave my PC on for a couple of hours, and when i come back to it, it takes a long time to display the other computers on my network. If anybody knows the cause of this please let me know.

yes, the CPU speed. I have a 2.4 Ghz proccessor ands it displaying as a 1.8 ghz proccessor.

I am having trouble readjusting my proccessor clock/speed after it got thrown off. I am using Win XP pro. Any bit of help would be appreciated. Thanks.
