I know how to add (or insert to use the Veritas wording) a report using the BEMCMD.EXE -o403 -f<filename> command, but my question is:

I had this problem, what we did was to write a script that automatically checks the badmail folder and when it gets too big, it deletes the contents.

miles33 - I had EXACTLY the same problem - Ok I was entering the command wrong but because the '^' pointed at the IP address I thought that the IP address was incorrect.

Rols, I agree with it being a corrupt message, and I also agree that if you delete the message, making sure it's fully deleted and not in the Deleted Items folder, The problem goes away.

I have had this before, after the usual checks to make sure that no programs/applications/processes are using the file I found that the best way round to was to rename the file, then delete it.
