It sounds like you are sharing folders by adding id's to the security tab directly. Create a group called something like shared_folder_access_group_FC (for full control) - give it full control access to the shared folder. and add your user ids that you want to have full access to that.

I'd just to add that if the client previously had an address allocated (and it is still cached), it will request that same address again in the DHCPREQUEST of step 3. I think that is worth adding as it confused me for a while!
