Cannot map to network folder using different user name and password

I have two different folders shared out on the same server.

I am trying to connecting to them using two different logins, since they both require different credentials.

When I map to them, I choose the "Connect as different user" option. It will let me map the first drive, but when I try to map the second, it tells me

"The network folder specified is currently mapped using a different uesr name and password. To connect using a different user name and password, first disconnect any existing mappings to this network share."

Then it tells me

"The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred:

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again."

I do not want to go through the process of disconnecting and remapping drives any time I need to access either of those.

Any ideas on how I can get around this problem?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are sharing folders by adding id's to the security tab directly.

Create a group called something like shared_folder_access_group_FC (for full control) - give it full control access to the shared folder.

and add your user ids that you want to have full access to that.
