    Cannot print correctly from Word

I am pretty sure it has only affected Word. Like I said I would restart the print spooler service (& TCP Printing)on the print server and it will fix one users issue but mess up another. This printer problem has been mind boggling. Anyone else can chime in on this matter. It just does not want...

    Cannot print correctly from Word

I have been having this problem with a few end-users for quiet sometime now and I have yet to figure it out. every month and after Windows updates, a handful of users either get funky printing or weird paper size error messages. It does not matter which network printer they print to (Xerox, HP)...

Clean up Space on Exchange Server

Only Exchange and GFI Mail Essentials exists on this box. I will search for old log files from both of these apps on that partition. Thanks. k.SUMNER

Clean up Space on Exchange Server

My system partition is starting to run low on disk space. What files can I get rid of to clear up some space on this partition? Also, what is the best way to maintain an Exchange 2003 Server (SP1)? Thanks. k.SUMNER

Printing From Word (and any other word processor)

OK. I really dont have a clue as to what is going on here! Whenever I restart the print spooler services to correct someones printing issue it messes up 1/2 other users. And it still only affects mostly Word and Notepad....no other application. Is my spooler file corrupt? Should i delete the...

Printing From Word (and any other word processor)

I stopped and restarted the print spooler services and that seemed to have cleared things up for a bit. Although there are 1 or 2 more users who have experienced another issue...printouts coming out very large. Weird! k.SUMNER

Printing From Word (and any other word processor)

Anyone has any idea how to fix this? For the two users that I know that has this problem the printer keeps asking for strange paper sizes (8.5x13 or 8.5x20). It is screwing up printing from Outlook (zooming too large) and refuses to print to 8.5x11 from Word. Everything else prints fine. I have...

Printing From Word (and any other word processor)

I have a couple of users who are unable to print to the correct sized paper when printing from Word or any other word processor (notepad). It asks for some weird size paper (8.5 x 12, etc.). I can do a test print just fine and I can also print from other MS Office apps (powerpoint, excel...

Why can't I reach my own website - Router issues?

    1. I have a linksys wireless router at work that is attached to our firewall (or is it our cisco router) for internet connection. users are able to open most sites, but cannot open our own website. It seems anything to do with our domain "the server cannot be found". Yet connecting any other way...

Using BackUp Exec to back up MS Exchange 2003

Sorry, I used the wrong term - its agent not module. You will either have to purchase the Exchange agent from Veritas or one of its resellers. Once installed and you configure a backup job for the Exchange Server, you will see the selections under your Exchange server. The three you may want to...

Using BackUp Exec to back up MS Exchange 2003

You need the exchange server module to backup Exchange. Once you have purchased and installed it on your media server (where BE is installed), you should backup the mailboxes and information store. Hope this helps! k.SUMNER
