Hello,
I have a VPN tunnel established between a Cisco SA540 and a Cisco SA520.
I have 6 Avaya IP phones connecting to a IP Office via the VPN tunnel.
Troughout the day maybe 3 or 4 times a day the Cisco SA540 (sits on the side where the IP phones are connected) restarts. The Cisco SA520...
I guess i did not configure everything perfectly [wink] because the one phone that I plugged into the main location does not have the buttons ether.
I'll check into getting the latest firmware and how to load it and see if that fixes the problem.
Thanks for the help!!!
Thanks for the quick replies!!
They only show "Drop" when in call.
I thought the latest firmware was pulled from the IP Office when the phone logged in?
I just installed 4 9608 phones in a remote office. The phones are working normal except they do not show a "Hold" or "Conf" button???
Any thoughts would be most helpful!!
Thanks!!

if the system are read only then i'm really confused because that means the files would never get updated even after the upgrade to R8. Is there a way to remove read only so that the files can be updated?
We have a dedicated server running VMPro and Manager, that's on the same subnet as the IP Office.
I'm connected to that server when trying to upload the system file to the SD card.
I'm connected to the IP Office via Manager and doing the following:
File, Advanced, Memory Card (Embedded File Management)and after I get connected I go to File, Upload System Files
Then I get the error. Behind the error window there is a file copy window and it's trying to copy the files to...
Updated IP Office to R8 and when it tried to upload the system files it throws the following error:
HTTP request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed
Has anyone seen this error??
