9608 phone does not have a "Hold" or Conf" button

I just installed 4 9608 phones in a remote office. The phones are working normal except they do not show a "Hold" or "Conf" button???

Any thoughts would be most helpful!!

They only appear in call, if thy don't then I imagine they are running the wrong firmware

You know that they only show when actually connected to a call... Do the phones show transfer & drop while on call?

They only show "Drop" when in call.

I thought the latest firmware was pulled from the IP Office when the phone logged in?

Latest firmware only if everything is configured perfectly. We ALWAYS plug phone in at main location to get firmware updates out of the way before taking phone remote.

They usually will but it depends on your setup, they pull a pretty large file down and it's advised to use a different file server but I have not personally seen any issues using the system

I guess i did not configure everything perfectly because the one phone that I plugged into the main location does not have the buttons ether.

I'll check into getting the latest firmware and how to load it and see if that fixes the problem.

Like said, they appear when you have a connected call (not when you lift the handset)
