Unless the customer has to have a certain function of a reader board, we tell our customers to go buy a $1000 LCD or Plasma and use an old PC that can do IE and use the web client to display stats.

Sounds like you have an issue with the Sig Server or the PBX. I have never had an issue with replacing an IP phone and getting that error. I will try tomorrow and see if I can duplicate it.

What is the issue? There is nothing that you need to do that requires a de-registration. This is not a procedure that needs to be done to remove a phone off the network.

Use Call Pilot Reporter, which comes with CallPilot but you have to set it up on another server.

Your restriction and permition list must allow the numbers to be dialed. If this is not done properly you can open up toll fraud.

Sounds like you need an IP paging system...try to googole IP paging system. Valcom makes one.

The signaling server uses the passwords from the PBX. So you will have to build it in LD 17 and then do a data dump to get it to sync with the signaling server.

Are you using POE? If so how many phones do you have running on the switch? Its possible to have to many POE devices on a edge switch, especially if it's a Cisco switch with no extra power supply. If its not power then you are having data connectivity issues. You can take a phone power...

Sorry one more thing...the best part about it is that we didn't need to change out any phones to get this up and running. It works with digital, analog and IP phones.
