Signaling servers version 4

Want to setup a independant login/pass to a signaling server, that doesn't use admin1 or admin2.

Know this is possible, as I managed to do this on one of my sites. The sites signaling server still has admin1 and this still sync's with my cs1000m. But I can also login as admin (with the password of my choice)

Unsure if this replace's the admin2 login.

Any pointers to jog my memory ?

The signaling server uses the passwords from the PBX. So you will have to build it in LD 17 and then do a data dump to get it to sync with the signaling server.

Sorry should have made myself more clear,

Looking to change the CLI login/pass so that I don't have to use the admin1/admin2 logins.

I have done this to another site.

On that site the admin1 login/pass still works, but I have a admin/pass that hasn't changed for 18 months.

The admin1 still syncs with the cs1000m and node transfers work fine.

The reason for this is I'm a BT managed site and they change my admin1 and admin2 passwords every 6 weeks

like jamming1 said, build yourself some more user account in the pbx and synch them

I wish to Telnet to the SS, and then login without using admin1/admin2

My switch has about 8 users configured, none of these work except admin1 and admin2.

I know that you can setup additional logins to the SS that have nothing to do with the cs1000 (I have this working on another site)

Ok remebered how I did it last time

telnet to SS

enter login name "admin"
enter pass "cseadmin"

you will see the below text

login: admin
password: Your password is expired, please change it now...
New Password: "yournewpass"
Confirm Password: "yournewpass"

You can still use the admin1 login/pass and thats still synced to the CS1000

Or if you're like me you can now login with admin and your own pass, that won't keep getting changed every 6 weeks.

Thanks for the people that tried to help, I just didn't explain what I needed properly.
