Paging at location with VOIP phones

I have a child care center that has all i2004 sets programmed off and Option 61 in another location. I have no copper running between these locations. What I need is to set up and external paging system that can zone page through the building and to the outside play areas. I have 6 classrooms that each need seperate zones and the office and hallway areas. Like I stated, I have no copper to this location, and every system I have found so far either wants a station or trunk port to access paging. I have contacted my Nortel Sales engineer, but he has not answered me back yet. I do have an Application Gateway coming for one of my other locations, but they don't want the paging over the sets at this location, just external speakers.

Sounds like you need an IP paging system...try to googole IP paging system. Valcom makes one.

Valcom is probably your best bet.

On a side note, you mentioned that a child care center is running off of a 61c in another location. What happens when they dial 911?

That's a whole other nightmare I'm working on. I have a total of 2 Option 61's, 6 option 11's, and 2 BCM50's. All are tied together using a common dialing plan, but are spread out through 6 counties. I'm currently working with Telident to see about getting there solution in place. The problem is getting the powers that be sold on it. Can't get them to understand that it's not a waste of money. They keep asking how much we are going to use it, and the best answer I can give them is hopefully never. They can't see that it's like an insurance policy.
