This will not work because all other users who log on for the first time have no problems with mapping. That must mean my default profile is ok.

I was working on a computer yesterday that had no sound. I verified that the speakers worked. I also did a hardware test and the sound works in that (Its a Dell Optiplex gx280)I logged into windows and there are no conflicts in device manager.I just cannot hear any sounds. Mute is not selected...

Has anyone used a product called NetopSchool? It is used in schools and basically lets a teacher see exactly what any student in her lab is doing on the computer and also control and talk to them. I have some questions regarding this program that their tech support cant answer. Thanks John

Thanks Guys.I checked with a teacher who uses the computer in question, and the advice Dillinger gave did work!

I think I will try Dillinger99's advice. I do not want to give all our students (over 1000 of them) admin rights! I am and admin on the network also.It works for me
