    Exchange 5.5 Disaster Recovery

I think I am being misunderstood. I have appropriate backups for our live Exchange server environment. I am setting up a test environment, to upgrade from 5.5 to Enterprise Edition to remove the 16GB limit. Obviously, I do not want to test the upgrade on the live system! I have copied the...

    Exchange 5.5 Disaster Recovery

I am currently recovering my exchange 5.5 server as a test to try out an Enterprise upgrade. However, after the recovery there is no mappings between the Exchange mail account and the Primary windows NT account. All our servers are linked under one site - not separate sites. Has anyone seen...

1 Exchange Server - 2 Internet Domain Names

No problem with two domain names on one server as long as both MX records point to the Exchange server. You will need to add the second domain name into the Internet Mail Service! (configuration - Connections - IMS - Routing). and then you need to add the relevant SMTP address to the user...

    Exchange 5.5 Attachments

I am having problems with attachments sent externally. If a user sends an attachment to a number of recipients (externally), some or all of the recipients do not receive the attachment. However, if the recipient is sent the attachment individually, then it arrives. Is there a setting...

    Where are users email saved

One other point - Disk space! Defraging requires free disk space equal to 110 percent of priv.edb. you may want to run eseutil /MS PRIV.EDB > FREESPACE.TXT This will generate a file, and give a total at the end. Multiply this total by 4096, to give the maximum bytes you might recover. May...

    exchange db error please help

As I recall, this is a problem with code pages. Are you moving servers, because if you are then you need to install the code pages that were on the previous server. I think its on the NT server CD under Langpack directory! Hope this helps !
