looking for the best way to search through 30 days worth of logs files..
zgrep '192.1.2.' 20060802.access.log.web |grep 'deny' > /root/test3
this is what i have been using for one file but im looking for 30days worth of file and 3 different ip address ranges...
any ideas.

Im talking about windows explorer... and i did make a slight mistake...
want all windows explorer (not internet explorer) file browsing to be forced into maximized when open...
(dont wnat forced all the time just when its opened)...

Just for your info its on win98 / nt4 machines and msinfo32 and Belarc Advisor do not give enough...
I have run into this problem before a few times i have a file that i can not delete.. I have total admin writes to the file etc but no matter what i do apart from format the hard drive i cant delete the files
I even booted up in knoppix with NTFS read write support and tried to delete etc.. but...

Nigeldk, gpedit is only worth while if you dont want to use the machine yourself...
