I have tried this,and after my kids restart aim, it installs itself back in the startup. (I uncheck it, and then it re-checks itself). Is there away to delete aim from the startup, and yet keep it on the system.

Thanks for the info. I cant get to the sound card, because I would have to remove the hard drive to get to it. I am thinking of wiping the hard drive out and re-installing windows, and hopefully the card will re-install

It was factory preinstalled i went to the drivers cd, and redownloaded the drivers and i still dont have it.Strangest thing I have seen.
