Does anybody know how to negate a command, if you decide you don't want to use it ? For instance, to set spantree, you'd use:
Set spantree priority 8192 10.
How would you negate this command if you didn't want to use it ?
Does anyone know how enable rspan on two switches trunked running vtp with a sensor connected to just one switch ? So my set up looks like this.
sensor---SWITCH1----TRUNK----SWITCH2
Well FYI, Jnieberger, I have moderate experience with routing, ospf,igrp,eigrp,rip,etc...
I've found the answer to my own question. 6509's can work at layer two as well as three. You need what's called an MSFC or Multi-layered Switch Feature Card, which my core switches in my production network...
Not only Checkpoint, but Nokia as well regarding support. Unless the version of ipso sitting on the ip330 is fairly recent, a la ipso 3.8 or 3.9, you'll need to download it from Nokia's site. Then you'll need the wrapper for R60 and above to install on top of ipso.
Without either of those, your...
I'm curious, I don't see any Nat or Global statements in the first config. Secondly you have two Nat statements with the same id, 0 in the second config with no Global statement of the same id, 0. It should be one or the other. How do you plan to send internal traffic externally and over the vpn...
Shouldn't there be an actual access-list, something like:
access-list acl permit tcp host x.x.x.x host x.x.x.x eq xx
access-group acl in interface outside
then
nat (inside) 2 access-list acl
I'm not sure if there are any access lists in his config, nor is there interface that it is applied...
You could try MS ISA 2004 or 2006. You can run it on a server with two nics, create rules to allow file serving, web hosting, mail, etc. You can set up vpn, although I've found setting ipsec tunnels on it very troublesome. That's the only thing I can think of that will suit your needs.
HTH
Could also be a duplex/speed issue. What are nics for the printers set to ? Autosense ? Check the port speed as well as duplexing. If either is mismatch, that may very well be your problem.
Hold your horses. You want to do this slowly, one thing at a time. I was refering to Checkpoint user access. To get the wrapper for R62 on IPSO, you have to get it from Checkpoint. They do have a comprehensive wrapper for 1GB Ram disk based appliances. I've always used the boot image when...
Well, what are we talking about ? IPSO, the OS, or the wrapper(that is the application of Checkpoint that runs on top of it) ? What version of IPSO are you running ? 3.4, 3.7, 3.9 ? Find out. Do you have a support from Checkpoint ? If so log in and download the tgz file for PSO. Do you know how...
