Hi, When I label brand new tapes for example 'FULL' pool, although the tape labels ok according to the barcode, NW6.0 reports media warning\\.\Tape0 reading: unknown error 1104(0x450). all tapes are new and both drives have been cleaned any ideas much appreciated. thanks

Hello, Has anyone seen this problem? In Outlook 2000 (running W2K), 2 personal folders are mapped but I do not see them in Control Panel-Mail. I cannot delete them, when I do I receive "The operation failed. An object could not be found". Any help much appreciated. Regards, Carlo

Hi all, Has anyone ever come across this problem? I have 2 PC's running Windows 2k, and after login, the screen just stays blue (no icons etc). It's not a blue screen (of death) with hex numbers etc, just a blue screen. I'm baffled. Any help is appreciated. C

Hi, Can anyone advise please? I need to do a recovery of a folder from Dec 2003, in NW, under the Volumes tab, I can see the tapes that were used during that period with (R) beside them. Am I correct in assuming I don't need to run scanner -i..... Also the clients FULL savesets go back to Feb...

Thanks guys, just that any other client running on its own would write at an average 2-3MB/sec but this particular client at 200kb/sec. I thought that maybe it was something to do with paralellism/priority in Networker?

Hi All, I have FULL backup of 12 clients but when 11 are done, the 12th (a 60GB) volume crawls - it takes over 24hrs to complete as it's writing at an average of 256KB/sec. How can I configure it so that when the other 11 clients are done it continues to write at 1MB+/sec and complete sooner...

Hi, Want to insert a new cleaning tape into my jukebox(s). Running NwtWorker 6.2 on one server and 6.0 on another. I think I may have seen that an nsrjb*.* operation is needed as opposed to a 'standrard inventory'? Also does the cleaning tape need a label of some sort? Many thanks, C

Excellent advice and many thanks. After setting both ends of the server to 100Full, I kicked off a FULL backup last night. In the last few minutes it completed successfully! all 98GB. Appreciate all the help C

Thanks TDun - I have checked the server, one end is at 100MB Full and the other end 'Auto'. Because it's in a live environment and it's NT, it needs to be rebooted after hours. The server is also receiving a lot of collisions but has passed an INCR backup. Once done, I'll attempt another FULL on it.
