I did not find EXPLORER.EXE in C:\WINDOWS\INTERNET EXPLORER. I found it in C:\Program Files/INTERNET EXPLORER. Yes, IE will not open up when I click it. Should EXPLORER.EXE be in the WINDOWS directory?

Thanks, I found the System Tools and IE Repair; however, I still cannot get onto IE. I tried your Scanreg /restore and that did not work either, messed up to many other settings. I am running IE 6 on this machine. Any other suggestions? I sure do appreciate your input
