Looks like some of the top support guys have been let go in APAC.
Dont know if all of the local support team have been pushed , but it certainly wont help with mitels slide into oblivion

Mitel is "sliding into oblivion"?Evidence?
I thought that they were building a pretty resilient recurrent revenue model with the success of Micloud (Mitel hosted pbx).

I heard something about this just yesterday.
That's a real shame.
I wonder if it's anything to do the the financial restructure.

probably ,there was talk a few years ago of handling APAC from UK /Canada
luckily we are actively moving most of our mitel base to to other products

for a lot of them the flex disaster was the last straw - if we now struggle with support , its just another nail in the coffin for them.

I reckon this is just an action item following Chapter 11—cleaning up the backyard, so to speak—before remodeling the support model.
There’s a lot of firepower and experience in the team to be simply trimmed off like that, so I believe they’re dismantling things just to clear out the cobwebs before regrouping. I sure hope my sense of optimism holds true; otherwise, it’s going to be a tough road ahead for Mitel in that region when it comes to support.
