Hello all, Did any did upgrade of Avaya Session manager from 8.1.3.9 to 10.2.1 upgrade?

Yes, I have done multiple times. Do you need assistance

Thank you@craft01 and Shibz Question I have is
Avaya documentation mentions about 8.1.3.8 to 10.2.1 but no information about customers on 8.1.3.9 to 10.2.1

Needed conformation for other customers here who have successfully upgraded cluster SMs from 8.1.3.9 to 10.2.1

We have two SMs in 8.1.3.9 in two data centers.( In office Nutanix and AWS)

Is there a latest SSP or any particular procedure we need to follow to have a successful upgrade?

yes I did it by the end of 2024. tell me please

Avaya always recommends to update from latest release to 10.2.1, so you should be okay to proceed. I remember doing an upgrade of SMGR by back and restore from 8.1.3.4 to 10.2.0 though Avaya says SMGR be on 8.1.3.8 in document.
Your upgrade is gonna go fine in my opinion

Do we need to have CM too on latest patch My CM version is as below
CM 8.1.2.0.0.890.26095
before we Upgrading the Session Manager to 10.2.1?

Please review the upgrade documentation, the order of upgrade is spelled out in almost each products guide. Start with the System Manager documentation on upgrades and it will spell the order out for you.

Once you get to each product, review the release notes for each product.
