Avaya phone user unable to log into phone.

Avaya phone user unable to log into phone.

Hi, I have a user who is unable to log into their Avaya phone. The phone seems to log into to his default hunt group but automatically logs him out approx 2 secconds. I have compared the agent config on the switch to the template I have used to create other users who are working fine. I have also tried logging the user in from different station but the same problem occurs. Can anyone help?

RE: Avaya phone user unable to log into phone.

I have had this before and I changed the agent login form. (ch ag xx) there is a field that is Auto Answer change this to Station and am not sure why but is seemed to work and then on the station form set up the required auto answer

RE: Avaya phone user unable to log into phone.

Thanks Dawncastle, I have changed the Auto Answer field (in ch agent xx) from 'acd' to 'none' and this has resolved the problem :) The user can now log in happily and doesn't get logged out after 2 seconds! Looks as though the Auto Answer = acd should be reserved for headset users, whereas this guy was using a handset and was not meant to be part of any hunt.
