I need some help with Call Forwarding between two 2000IVS's...

The first site is the Dealership which has the DID coming in from telco and has the AD40 Voicemail. The second site is the Body Shop which has a 1000IVS. A tech routed the DID (2680) to the Body Shop across the Point to Point T1 (he said he digit manipulated the 2680 to 4535 and Call Forward All Calls the 4535 to 4820. I programmed 4820 on a phone at the body shop. I set the call forward busy/no answer to the voicemail at the Dealership (back across the T1). When I call 4820 internally I go to vm on the no answer, but when I call the DID it just rings no answer on the set. I thought I found the answer a few times: CM4214 Number of call fwds in multiple call forwarding was set to none - I changed it to 5 - didn't help; Verified the tandem restrictions in CM 36 - they were set correctly, look at the timers in CM41...Help! If anyone has any ideas I greatly appreciate the help!

I have this type of setup in my dealerships, but I'm not understanding why you're using all of the digit conversion and forwarding.

What is the DID range at the body shop? Are the extension numbers different than the DIDs? What is the voicemail pilot? And don't forget to set E601 and E602 as well as E603. Does the call from the outside actually open ring on the station or is it forwarding to some unknown?

The DID range at the Dealership is 2680-2699; the Body Shop has centrex lines. I don't know why, but they wanted this new number (for non-Toyota repair shop in building on property with Body Shop) to be a DID off the Dealership (2680). So I asked a tech who I used to work with if he could send the DID across the P2P T1 to the Body Shop switch - I don't know why the digit conversion and then call fwd all calls (I'll ask him). So the ext. number that the 407-2680 rings on is ext 4820 (not a DID). I have that phone using the centrex lines to go out. The 407-2680 does ring on ext 4820. The VM pilot is 4700 (47,00 from the Body Shop back to the dealership). The other phones I previously programmed at the Body shop go to the same VM...but the calls come into those sets via the Centrex lines that are at the Body Shop - not over the T1 from the dealership. Have I totally confused you?!

I set the E601 & E602 to 47,00 and I go to voicemail if I call 4820 internally. If I call 407-2680 (DID) it just rings forever. (The mailbox I programmed is 4820 should it be 4535 since that's what he manipulated the 2680 to be?_.

I follow. What happens if you dial 4535 from the main site and what happens when 4535 is dialed from the body shop?

Oh yeah, set E602 on 4535 to 47,00. If it does not have CFDA (e602) set, the call is going to open ring since it is CFA'd. Set E602 on 4535 in the 1000IVS to 47,00 and try again.

First of all I assume this P2P is a CCIS Link

If it is, there is no need for the 4535 extension, you can route directly to 4820 through command 76. However, in the current config the mailbox would have to be 4535. The system will carry the ID of the first forwarded station for several hops.

Now, assuming this is CCIS check these commands

A729>CCH Number (0-7)>0 This must be 0 - It allows multiple CF through CCIS

08>606>1 This enables the link-reconnect feature.
