NEC/NITSUKO 124I programming question

NEC/NITSUKO 124I programming question

NEC/NITSUKO 124I programming question

(OP)
Would anyone be able to give me some pointers on installing a phone key set on my 124i? I have the phone punched down in the closet and the phone initializes and receives an extension. I now want to take an external phone number and route it to this extension.

I have the software manual but it tells me all about the features and program codes but gives nothing in the way of an example to install a new phone set and assign it a DID number.

I am attempting to locate the LAPBU connection kit so I can view/modify the system layout on an attached computer, but no one seems to be able to confirm they exist. LOL!

Anyway, any help would be wonderful!

RE: NEC/NITSUKO 124I programming question

Ok, the whole LAPB thing is a pain in the butt..

The DID routing is in the book. I haven't worked on 1 of these in a while. I can give you the DID routing commands for day and night on Monday when I'm at my office with a book in front of me.
