Warning Blaster Virus etc can cause system reset

I have now come across 2 instances were a customer had the blaster virus on there lan and the IP office kept rebooting itself tyhe second time it was on a PPP connection.  Once the unit was disconnected from the network it started to work fine again.  Cleared all instances of the virus and reconnected the IP office back to the lan and is still working fine.

I think the problem is due to misformed ICMP packet's hitting the IP office lan interface but can not be sure of it. I am sure however that it was the virus that caused the problem.

If you have a reseting unit first try disconnecting from the lan and if neccesarry also disable any PPP connections.
