Cannot see excel formats

Cannot see excel formats

Cannot see excel formats

(OP)
Bit confused on this one!
When using Access97 and wish to import an excel97 file, I Cannot see excel formats? only see mdb and odbc formats.
Anyone know why?
I have re-installed office97 so many times i'm getting bored of it.
All other machines in my office have no probs at all importing from excel but only this one machine (win95).
Is there a function in win95 i can check compared to the other machines that i have missed out,if so please let me know before i chuck this machine out the window.

Thanks in advance

RE: Cannot see excel formats

FYI, this was answered earlier in the Access forum. You may have to page back a while to find it...
