FileMaker and WinFrame

FileMaker and WinFrame

FileMaker and WinFrame

Anyone know of anyone who is using the above combination? FileMaker say that 'FileMaker is not certified to run under WinFrame' but we are running it with only a few major disastrous problems.

RE: FileMaker and WinFrame

Are the disasterous problems related to FM's checking on the network for duplicate copies running? Seems like a high possibility on WinFrame....

RE: FileMaker and WinFrame

Negative, CJ. But getting warm, maybe. Hosting FileMaker on the WinFrame server is virtually impossible - can't find related files.
Latest is a real lulu. Shared DB1 links to single-U DB2. If any user has any of the DB1 files open (not being used), we get random failure of lookups within DB2.
