Custom Login Screen in FileMaker 9??

Hello guys,

I am trying to create a Custom Login Screen for my FileMaker 9 database. I found this thread shed some lights of how to. However, I don't quite understand the following in the thread295-559159:

1) how to verify the user input with the database in the "loop if" script?
2) how to setup a relationship to verify the user input...

I appreciate if someone can provide script sample.

Typo correction:I have FileMaker 12 instead of 9.
