Merlin Legend Call ID

(OP)
I’m running a Merlin Legend Rel 7 in my home. My question is Caller ID only displays on the Primary line. If the primary line is idle, and the secondary line rings, there is no caller id. I’m using MX display phones, the Display Caller ID feature is programmed as a button on every display phone (turned on), and the card is a 408 GS/LS-ID-MLX. I tested the CO lines individually and caller id comes through. Any thoughts? Also, is there a way to permanently keep the Caller Id featured turned on at every phone instead of having to dedicate a button to it?

RE: Merlin Legend Call ID

Two quick questions:

Are these true POTS lines provided by an RBOC?

If you swap the lines at the Legend, does the problem follow the line or the port on the Legend?
