I have a client that is using an external device connected to the audio input to stream music for MOH with Avaya IPO 500 v2. When placing a caller on hold from their office phone the audio skips every time. I had them connect a different external source (iPad) to the control unit and got the same result when placed on hold. I had him test the MOH source by dialing *34N# with the source number to test and the music plays perfectly fine. I have had him change the codec to G711 uLaw and still the same result. We also tested with another control unit using both external audio sources and got the skipping again. When using internal .wav audio file there is no audio issue when placed on hold. Software version is 9.1.12.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been fighting with this for the better part of 2 weeks.
