SCPlus for Tivoli- Installation

(OP)
Hi Folk,

ist it possible to install the SC Plus for Tivoli without having the SC Server as managed node in the TME. I am just concerned about TEC, no matter if I cannot get administering SC from Tivoli.

Thanks

Jayjay

RE: SCPlus for Tivoli- Installation

hi jay

in my understanding of scplus, you do not have to use sc server as managed node, cause the scplus adapter is installed on the tmr server, and connects itself to the sc server, and just sends sc specific commands to sc.

if you install it only for tec use you just have to write your rules, if you need something special and reload them. but take care scplus do not work with 3.7.1, and in 3.7 you have to change the '..' in baroc files otherwise it will not work.

i think SC Server needs not to be managed node

i will check it exactly

hope this helps a little in meantime

ciao joe
