Mitel 6900 phones on

In this post from a couple of years ago (thread1329-1789025: 6940 on a Mitel 250) this person says they have a 6900 phone working on a Mitel 250 (MiVoice Office 250) I guess, someone says not to do it because it doesn't run well on the 250. I'm just wondering if that has changed, is it better now or should it still not be done, is there a certain version minimum?

RE: Mitel 6900 phones on

If you use the MCS software to manage the phones the 69xx series now work brilliantly!. I would not risk using them without it, likely you will have a whole world of pain!

RE: Mitel 6900 phones on

thanks for the info, usually Tek-tips emails me when someone replies, I didn't see an email for this reply, otherwise I would have replied sooner.

RE: Mitel 6900 phones on

@MitelMike2010 can you be more specific about what I would be missing out on if I didn't have the MCS software?
