Can't transfer call over sip trunk

Can't transfer call over sip trunk

Can't transfer call over sip trunk

we face the following issue that, Can't transfer incoming calls to external destinations over sip trunks.

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

Check the COS on the trunks that trunk to trunk is allowed

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

COS enabled on both extensions and trunk for
trunk to trunk
call forward to external destination
conference call enabled

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

A lot of the times it will try and present the A-Party CLI (Incoming Caller ID). Most carriers won't allow this and the call will fail.

Look in the SIP Peer at the Calling Line ID options to make sure it is not trying to passthrough the original caller ID.

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

Another option to check is make sure "Display Held Call ID on Transfer" is set to No in the COS.

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

Also need to check the class of restriction for the incoming trunk is allowed to make external calls.

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

we had this recently and it was a BRI into mitel delievered via SIP NTU - carrier had to set the default link number for diverted calls
do you have a default cpn set on the sip peer ?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

RE: Can't transfer call over sip trunk

I had this issue a few months back.
Change the "Override From Header with Default CPN" from No to Yes on the SIP Peer Profile.
This got resolved for us.
