Automatic change content of a cell in table using dropdown list

Automatic change content of a cell in table using dropdown list

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I need some help in order to solve a problem related with MS Word VBA.

The problem is the following:

I have a car table that has 3 columns ("Model", "Year", "Price").
In each cell of the "Model" column I have a dropdown list. I want that: every time I change the car model in the dropdown list, it updates the price that is in the same row, although in the third column ("Price"). How do I do that?

I ask for help please, asap

Thanks in advance
Regards

RE: Automatic change content of a cell in table using dropdown list

Hi,

Where is the table that associates the Model with the Price?

Actually, I'd assume that BOTH Model AND Year would be needed to locate Price.

This would be easy in Excel!

I understand that I have posted in several forums the same question.
Honestly, I don't see any problem with that. I don't even know the relationship between the forums. And what's the matter with that?
I just want you to help me solve my problem, please.
If I posted in various forums is because I have some urgency.

OP - You've been asked a question about your data here that you haven't answered but you've taken the time to copy/paste your reason for crossposting in all three places. With regards to crossposting - it's just the rules at the various forums.

RE: Automatic change content of a cell in table using dropdown list

Where is the table, as I asked 2 dats ago?

You need data to accomplish what you ask.

Maybe it is a case of: "I have a car table on the back of the napkin that has 3 columns ("Model", "Year", "Price"). " ponder

Well, the OP stated "some urgency."

It seems that the operative word in this phrase is "some" rather than "urgency."

In some quarters we might say "time is of the essence!"

The OP must mean,

"Time is of SOME essence!"

Urgency ends when (homework) deadlines pass.
