comm mgr 5.2.1
have several clinics with automated attds done through vectors. the main number is a hunt group with no members, with a cov path that points to a cov remote entry, which comes back into a vdn to get to the attd vector. these vector's have options that go to exts with voicemail. hence the double coverage problem.
2 reasons the main numbers are setup as hunt groups, and not as vdn's:
1. allows them to have one button to send calls to answering service after hours; hunt-ns
2. i havent been able to find a way to do a call forward on a vdn.
doing it this way ties up another outgoing and another incoming trunk. with another project we have coming up, i will need all the outgoing trunks i can get. is there another way to accomplish an attendant with exts to vm, and one button for redirecting to answering service?
thanks, tim
