missing range of extensions

missing range of extensions

missing range of extensions

We recently purchased a range of DID's 6600-6699

When i do a LUDN, the 66, and 6600-6699 extensions are not listed.

What do i do in order to A. Find why this range is not available, and B. Make this range available?

RE: missing range of extensions

What do you get when you do a DNB of 66 in LD 20?

RE: missing range of extensions

DN 66

RE: missing range of extensions

ok, so looking at this, i see that 66 is being used as a coordinated dialing plan. I do not have any additional PBX's tied into this switch however there may have been one in the past under previous company ownership.

Is it possible to Out a CDP, and if i do so, will that make the range available as extensions?

RE: missing range of extensions

Yes, you can OUT this CDP in LD 87 and then you should have all extensions starting with 66XX available.

RE: missing range of extensions

When i outed this, it gave me 66 in the LUDN, but not the rest of the range.

i did locate this
DSC 66
RLI 12

Which is pointing the DSC of 66 to RLI 12 which is an old Sip Tie trunk that we no longer use. So now it looks like i need to remove this trunk, but i want to be 100% certain that it's not in sure anymore.
Not certain what the next step is.

RE: missing range of extensions

If you are sure that your pbx is not connected to any other outer pbx or SIP trunk ..then just out this 66 DSC to get the extension range .

RE: missing range of extensions

i did out the dsc of 66, however it still has not released the dn's

RE: missing range of extensions

Create a dummy DN of 6601 on a spare TN ..and then print the LUDN.. wether you become able to find the range..

RE: missing range of extensions

ok. so when i added 6601, it actually let me. and then the range of 6601-6609 showed up in the ludn. So basically i just had to add a number in each of the 10's block of the 6600 series, and it opened them all up.

Thank you everyone!

RE: missing range of extensions

Yes..that was the trick..enjoy yourself
